Spirited Away Christmas

My very first Christmas in America was a silent night..
Nothing after midnight the people are asleep...
Everything is Silent
That's why they invented the song "Silent Night"
Some people in America seems to have lost the true meaning of
Christmas..
It's not about gifts giving
or partying out
or working
It's about a child, who was born
in Bethlehem..

Christmas is also about
Family and Friends
but i still don't feel that Christmas spirit
half of my family is stuck in Philippines
my friends are in Philippines

how can i feel christmas if i dont even
have all of my friends and my family?

we ended up openning our gifts around 10:30 pm
which is not tradition in our family
we usually open our gifts when midnight strikes

we went to mass around 6pm
but we usually go around 9pm

we ate our noche buena around 8pm
but we usually eat at 10:30pm

at after openning our gifts we just sat at home
but we usually go out and meet up with our friends

compare and contrast... i still want to spend christmas
in the Philippines...

this is my first christmas anyways might as well wait for
next year.. i'm sure it will change...
