Chapter 1
Where it all began
This is the story that i haven't told to anyone. A story about a boy name John. A tall, thin pilipino who has no self-confident or whatsoever about girls.. He has a lot of crushes whom his friends think that he is in love with... A Stacy, a Lisa, a Gemma and a Daria those are names of his crushes which unfortunately hides his true love's name.. He actually fooled everyone, thinking that those girls are true loves but were just mere pawns to his true agenda which is a girl name...

A beautiful name with a little a tinge of masculinity..
John met jacq through a friend in a drinking party in Ate Grace's house.. John had his long hair with a little bit of a emo clothing to it.. John was quiet because it was new crowd of people which he just met. that's the first meeting...
the second meeting will be at Popeyes in Journal Square, where everything was chicken that can get bad cholesterol if you lived eating that food everyday.. the popeye meetings continued in the duration of the semester which was spring... after that it was dead relationship with them..
BUT.. later did John know that they would be classmates in the Autumn semester in Christ Hospital School of nursing...
So the third meaning which was where everything fell into place was when John procastinate on paying for the ERI exam which was 65$... He has to give that payment on a friday of august which school was closed eventually... John was knocking, calling, yelling, kicking so the door can open but nothing happened... he got pissed and turned back from the door.. suddenly he saw a girl heading towards him with her hair untied and was being blown by the wind... she entered the room and suddenly john realized they have met before and John said... "i dont think someone's inside"
"what! Ah man" said in her irratating tone "ah man, i should have given this before, my dad told me to give yesterday but i was to lazy" she laughed...
John couldn't stop looking at her eyes... which were purely light brown.. her eyes were truly beautiful... an unescapable trap were men had fallen for... finally John opened his mouth and said
"jackie, right?"
"yeah, John right?" she answered back
"yup" in an instant replied john "well got to go im late for work and i think its about to rain"
"well yeah, bye" she said..
that day went by fast... knowing that time flys when you are in love...
finaly orientation came where John texted Jacq and Kat if they are already there in the Orientation which they didnt reply... Jacq and Kat were sitted at the back of the room and reserved me a sit beside jacq and i was happy but my sister was sitting beside me too...
Chapter two
The reason of the doubt
John would think if it is the right time for him to confess to jacq about his love for her but he couldn't... it wasn't that he was scared or anything but he was caring about jacq's studies... If Jacq fails because of John then that would be a stupid reason to fail... John was also scared about the friendship, he and jacq already had... Once he confess to Jacq.. And Jacq dumps john, the friendship will be lost forever.. there will be insecurities...
Nengki, who has beautiful voice in the karaoke mic, told John that "there is still time for you and jacq to be together... you just have to wait a little longer..."
Rovier, who is a huge person but his sense of humor is still bigger, told John that "Jacq is part of the boys you can't do that... But its your life..."
Kat, who is small but has magnificent mind, told John that "OMG are you serious, i knew it, that you like her.. well the only thing is ill support you...."
Jen, who is as small as a fire hydrant (exaggerating) but a lovable person, told John that "well just wait for summer because nursing two is really a hard subject and she doesnt need any distractions...."
Luisa, who is a hot cool sizzling mom, told John," you know when you and Jacq were walking together going to A&P (anatomy and Physiology) i thought you were BF and GF...."
Cookie, who likes all guys except pilipino guys, told John that "when i saw you and Jacq standing together when you were presenting the evidence base research. you both look good together.."
Lauren, who has the beautiful smile and hair, told John that "why won't you date jacq she is tall, smart and beautiful?"
Mary Anne, who is my terrible nightmare sisters (JUST KIDDING) she is quite the control freak which i grew to get use to it, told John that "you know in the orientation i find you and jacq so close like couples"
Alot of people recommended john that Jacq and him look good together but its not up to them but it is up to jacq and John so....
He finally decided that he would not do anything to distract Jacq of her studies and make her pass her final exams unfortunately, John failed Nursing 1... but john will remain sweet and caring for Jacq... so she could notice the small things john does for her....
Chapter Three
Her Description
Jacquelyn Herda, a name, not just a name but a name with little drop of masculinity like i said before.. She has the perfect height for a girl, not too small and not too tall.. an ideal height for John.. she has those dreamy beautiful hazelnut eyes that can pretty much attract the male species... Her hair were straight long black pearl color which shines brightly when the sun hits... Her smile makes me smile that's all you need to know... Her lips are red like roses... her body....
... is a monument of love, cleanliness, fortitude, caring, hope, inspiration and intellect... and there is only one being in this world that can create such beautiful creature like her and it's God...
Her heart screams out her childish ways which makes her a unique lovable girl...
Her mind shows the maturity of any matured person in the face of the planet...
Her skin glows like those lights in Las Vegas, blooming brightly...
how can you ever find a girl like her in this world full of hate, war and chaos...
A simple girl with an extraordinary powers of being the way she is today not changing but showing her inner beauty to the world...
Shallow Hall the movie wouldn't notice the different from the inner beauty and physical beauty because there both the same....

and i am still waiting for the others to reply on my text.... so anyways Jacq has a good heart but once you get her in her bad side it will be harder for her to forget that is why her friendster message is...

Chapter four
Sleeping Over
it was a friday night 10pm and john was out of work already.. he heads towards the bus station and got into the 80 bus which goes from Gates ave. to Journal square.. after the bus drops john on Journal square. he quickly got into those mini buses to head to christ hospital.... Are you wondering why he is going there? its to study for the finals which is the monday next week...
he has been jumping from room to room because he couldnt concentrate due to the people in it or his brain is a little too tired... then finally Charina, a photogenic girl sat on the other room because of the noise she makes when she studies.. Jen and Reina where in the another room, studying.... Paula, a heavyweight champion on drinking was in another room studying... and it leaves John and Jacq...
They were studying together in the room between Jen and Cha... John was too embarrass to sleep because Jacq was there and Jacq was also embarrass to sleep becasue of John... so they ended up not sleeping but studying it was a good combination....
Those hours spent with her were Heaven for John...
anyways, John rested because he was done studying for cardiovascular, spiritual and pulmonary and was like tired... and Jacq too was tired and John and Jacq talked for awhile....
They talked about Jay and how Jacq got a bible study for free... that she felt guilty because she got hit by the reasons Jay gave her about the mass, the idols and some other things...
After that they were bored and went out of the room.. and the best thing was the knobs.. it was freaking static... once you touch it you get a little electricuted due to the dryness of the room...
They checked on everyone... Cha was still shouting her Medical Jargons, Jen made a bed of chairs and curled to sleep, and Reina was studying her economics... so after checking on everyone they went outside the balcony... john was wearing only a shirt and Jacq has a jacket on... it was freaking freezing outside that made them both wide awake which was good because after that they studied again...
Jacq went out to study in the classroom near the room... and i was left alone in the room... and found myself getting drowsy and slept for awhile then woked up after 15minutes and wondered what was Jacq doing outside....
John went outside and entered the classroom and saw Jacq sleeping on one of the chairs in front of the classroom, where a light was showering her beauty... She was giving a radiant aura that showed every little loveliness she has..
Her notes were on the floor, her head resting on her right hand... she was beautiful when she sleeps, no snoring, no grinding but peacefully like she has no problem or whatsoever.... John walked near to her and looked at her for a minute...
an incandescent skin giving brightness to the room, her lips were red as cherries, her problems were gone, her everything was fine-looking...
then john woke her up... then laughed afterwards because there was a erythema that had formed on her forehead... it was red, due to her staying in the position she was at that time....
so in the end... she passed and i didn't but that night was worth it...
Chapter 5
NBA

Chapter 5
NBA
it was a thursday of december when john was talking to jacq because he has nothing else to do.. no work and no school nothing but talked with endlessly with jacq unfortunately endlessly will not be a word to use because she has to go and do something... after she hanged up... john's phone rang.. he answered it and it was his dad talking in the other side of the phone.... his dad was telling john that he has two tickets for the NBA game and he was asking john if he wants to watched the game and if he has someone to bring.... the first thing that came in john's mind was...
JACQUELYN....
and john told his dad "yeah sure ill just call my friend, if she wants to watched it"
John hanged up and dialed the number of jacq as quick as a cheetah... it was ringing and it answered...
"Hello"jacq said with her soothing voice..
"Jacq, do have plans for later?" john asked directly
"yeah, i have to babysit for my mom" john's hopes fell down "why?"
John answered "well i got two tickets for an NBA game, kings vs nets"
"OH REALLY!! let me call my mom first" excitedly replied by jacq..
"OK! bye" said john,, hanged up...
around 5pm she called john with a news.. a bad news... she couldn't go with him because jacq made a promise to her mom... anyways she told me..
"why not bring my sister?"..
"yeah sure why not" john replied "so i'll go there around 7pm to picked her up ok"
"ok, ah man i want to watch!" screamed jacq...
john told her "dont worry you get to watched that, i promise"
"ok, ill call her now, bye.." click... jacq hanged up..
so john got his dad's car and tickets and left around 6:45pm and arrived in jacq's place around 7:00pm and called jacq that he arrived.. she actually went down with her fluffy purple slippers to open the door for john... her hair wasn't tied... it was unusual that she didn't tie her hair... her hair was brushing her shoulders like a artist painting a masterpiece... and her brown eyes.. john was too shy to looked at her straight to her eyes because she was beautiful...
she invited him inside and asked if he wanted a drink... john was too shy because it was his very first time in her house... so he just sits on the couch while she turns on the tv... john was exploring his surrounding and saw one picture which shocked him....
John said to jacq "i never seen you in a skirt before finally!!"
"OH! yeah that was graduation and i need to wear a skirt" jacq answered....
Her sister nille was late!!! she actually arrive around 7:15pm and had to changed so they left for the game around 7:30pm...
when they got in the car... they were talking about jacq's high school life... which was more information for john... Nille told john that jacq was "ghetto" before.. wearing big earrings and listening to rap music... john laughed all the way until....
they got lost in the highway thanks to the best navigator john has... his dad... they actually went the opposite direction... but eventually arrived in continental arena... they had reserved parking so there's no need to worry about parking...
so they arrived around they end of 1st quarter and watched until the end... they were sitted near the court and near the players walked by.... so after that... john brought her home and went home, knowing that he has good points from the sister of jacq.....
CHAPTER SIX
HALLOWEEN PARADE
October 31, 2007... the parade of costumes, the walked of masks, and the best damn parade..... John loves Halloween... it is the celebrations of costumes which anyone can actually wear anything... unfortunately john had worked until 9pm.... he was actually rushing and finishing all his work at around 8:30pm just to be off at 9pm... he dashed in the streets and off he went into the pathtrain to the netherworld a.k.a new york...
john was a samurai in a kimono which he bought in a trift shop at good will for 5$ and it fits him perfectly.... he called jacq to know where she was and where to meet them... John finally got out of the path at around 10:30pm which was too late...
then john found capt. rovier outside a blimpie store with his sword swinging.... then finally.....
... john saw jacq... she was some kind of a old childish bizzared looking girl... with long hair and with two big highlights of white hair but still when she smiles nothing was different... she was still....
...Beautiful....
john missed the grand parade but he didnt miss what he was waiting for... and it was jacquelyn...
so ended up taking a little picture here and there... then finally went to otherworld a.k.a new jersey and ate at a diner near the science building in journal sq....
and then they ended up going home, rovier dropping everyone home... the night was perfect for john... even though he missed everything except...

Chapter Seven
John had a dream
Ever wonder why we dream? John's theory is pretty simple... dreams are mysterious messages that links the real world and the dream world.... but sometimes dreams can occur when you think about it all day long... that happened to john.... after what everyone said after the evidence based presentation.. john thought about jacq the whole and eventually dreamt about her....
it was a warm autumn where john and jacq were heading towards A&P class.... they were holding hands while jacq was leaning over to john.... they entered the classed and sitted together in the end of the table... unfortunately john had to abandoned luisa and gus because he wants to stay with jacq so...
...John woked up with a smile knowing that he actaully dreamt a good dream last night and was hoping to continue that dream....
Chapter Eight
John had a dream again
it was mid of january when john had another dream with jacq... this dream was cool because john actually fought someone finally..... so here it is...
They were in Ate Grace's house... drinking, watching, karaoking and having fun... until nolan and there other so called friends entered the house because they were invited by ate grace... then they started drinking and after an hour or two they were drunk... jacq was pissed and john doesnt know why... but she eventually went out of the house then nolan went out too... john being worried about jacq went out too and finds that nolan slapped her in the face....
john rushed out and without thinking punch nolan and pushed him away from jacq... john looked at jacq and said...
"are you ok?" john comforting jacq
Jacq was screaming at nolan with such vulgar words you can even imagine she would say.. with her eyes drowning with tears because the pain she recieved from a guy.... everybody went out because of the screaming...
nolan stands up and walked towards jacq but john was infront jacq shielding her from him then.... sirens went...
john woked up with his cellphone alarming...
Chapter Nine
Led
Led, a good musician, a good guitarist and is in one the best band john has ever known.. "the kamikaze"... kamikaze also known as divine wind well john doesnt know why they called them that but im pretty much sure that they are awesome....
john envies led a lot because this is the words that is always in the mouth of jacq.. she loves led... she adores led... led, led, led.... when she met him in person... you could see the smile she has from ear to ear.... she even played scramble and put led in the e in jacque and took a picture of it... john is really jealous of led... he wished he was led so it wouldnt be hard for him to court jacq...
the good news is... led is just a singer and they are not close... they are not friends.... led has a gf (i think)..... but you can never take the love that she puts in him....
...*sigh*...
Chapter Ten
Morning drinking
it was the end of Nursing 1 were everybody needs to get evaluated for the clinicals... john, jacq, kat, cha, yves, ben, ver, paula, reyna, and jen.... so they started to buy liqours and food... and finally a place to drink...
it was john's house... everybody went there walked two stairways and entered my house.... everybody was busy... kat, jacq was cooking while john cleared the clutters in the table... then ver and ben mixed the exilir of drunkeness... it was green apple martini, a whole pitcher of hangovers.. then man's best friends drink... BEER!!... john and everyone started drinking at 1pm then around 2pm... jen, reyna and paula came with another potion of alcohol.... everybody was tipsy, talking louder and louder, saying anything.... john even hugged jacq and jacq didnt even seem to be disgusted by it.... she was laughing and smiling in the camera while john hugged her...
it was ice cream for john... hugging her for around 20secs, a breaking record.... smelling her hair full of cologne which john is still curious to know...
eventually, the alcohol ran out and everybody started to go home at 5pm.... john went straight to bed knowing he had hugged jacq for the very longest time.....
..... around 12am john woked up with a hangover!!
Chapter Eleven
Parokya ni Kaze!!!
it was a saturday of october... it was warm but the breeze gets a chill or two... john had worked early in the morning from 9am to 5pm... luckily the band will be around 9pm but everybody wants to meet at around 6pm... so john was lucky!!... he actually dashed towards the bus station and headed to Journal sq. and meet at Lowe's theater where it was held... the band, the pilipino band... PAROKYA NI EDGAR!!! and one of the best funniest bands in the Philippines the KAMIKAZES!!!..... its one of the best court john ever went... due to the fact that it was both his favorite bands playing.... and best part is....
.... john was with jacq....
no matter how best the bands are...
nothing beats jacq's smile...
no matter how good they sing...
nothing beats jacq's voice....
no matter how well known they are...
nothing beats jacq's fame...
no matter how everybody loves them...
nothing beats john's love for jacq...
it was a good night for john... they actually sitted on the front sits.. where they saw jay's tattoos in his body clearly, chito miranda was in fact right beside us... singing harana to another girl in the crowd... there were actually kids crawling like rats in front of us to see chito miranda... but the best thing about the front sits was it wasnt john's exact sit row... and the even more best part was john was sitting beside jacq throughout the entire program... sigh... it is good but it is not good....
it was the best night!!!...
after Parokya ni edgar sang their eight songs... both band merge to become the Parokya ni Kaze.. they sang Okatokat and Ordertaker...
finally everything ended.... but night was still young... nengki had backstage pass thanks to her lovable BF... but unfortunately only can come with her... Jacq actually rushed and said
"ME!" raising her hands like those kindergarten kids...
so it was john and nille who was left behind but a little bit of luck and a cigarette.. they saw puto from kamikaze who wants to smoke... and the drummer from parokya.... finally jacq and nengks went out with their smiles were actually taped that they couldn't remove the smiles... well thanks to jacq.. john got the signatures from parokya ni edgar at kamikaze...
but unfortunately the night has to end and john needs to go to another party so they said their goodbyes and hugs and part ways....

Chapter thirteen
Mcdonalds
Mcdonalds
Ah.. Mcdonalds, a place of relaxation after a boring, sleepy course with Anatomy and Physiology... this is the place were john, jacq, rovier, nengks, stacy and sometimes pj use to hang out... they are the typical bunch to order a burger or two just to sit in mcdonalds... and they are the noises bunch in the whole mcdonalds talking tagalog to each other... well enough about the place....
mcdonalds is where nengki told us about our hororscope (dont know the spelling)... john was a gemini, jacq was a capricorn, nengki was a something i forgot and stacy was a libra... nengki was looking for the perfect match for each one... so she tried everything they told her... but enough about that.. geminis are flirts, romantic, happy go lucky, good kissers, not a fighter but a lover kind of a guy... with two personalities... well some of them are true and are LIES! and some john hasn't done yet... Thinking can kill
the wind of february has came and love is in the air... yes, this is the month of valentines... the month of flowers, chocolates, teddy bears and lots of hearts... but john has a problem, a very big problem...
what is he going to give to jacq on valentines?
Flowers? Chocolates? Teddy Bears? A Balloon Heart?... NO!!! her sister said to john... jacq finds it "corny" not romantic, no creativity... or whatsoever she wants to call that....
a very big obstacle john has to tackle for the month of valentines....
a capricorn with the instinct of high expectation and goals are harder to please... so that's why john had hardly enough sleep thinking on what to give her...

jacq is a unique creature her sister said to john... now john knows why she call her that... she is harder to read even harder than a nursing book...
her sister which is the closes to her doesnt even have a clue about jacqs love life or any kinds of life... jacq is a very secretive person... which makes her unique and hard to read...
its so hard and its so scary too... john knows he doesnt have a chance with jacq but still he still pursues.... john also had a dream when he was thinking of what to give to jacq...
john dreamt of it twice already in the one week...
the dream is about what do inorder to date jacq.... it was so hard to believe that john dreamt about it.. so enough is enough here is the dream
Jacq was walking in the pedestrain lane... were john pushed her suddenly at the back... she fell foward and quickly turned around and was pissed... when she saw john looked at her and john smiles... john got hit by a freaking car...
john actually rolled over until he hit the rear of car... jacq rushed towards john to see if he was alright.... and of course he wasnt because he was hit by a freaking car....
john smiled and told something to jacq... jacq teared and hugged john... and john woke up hugging his pillow....
do you have to do that kind of an extreme to get jacq's heart?
no matter how john tries to be close to jacq... jacq's moves farther... i pity john for going for jacq... but he still never asked or never tried and being a pessimists wont do anythin good... so lets just see how it goes and deal with it afterwards.....

Chapter Sixteen
Valentines :)
well john's valentines was the worst day he would ever imagine just to get those flowers for jacq... he traveled to newark city just to get those flower around 6am in the morning in the his sister's house... then he has to go to the hospital because his dad was in the emergency room because of a fever he got... he got the flowers it was beautiful like jacq and left my sister's house.. one the way home was terrible... traffic jam on route 280 because of the black ice that stayed in the roads that makes the wheel slippery... it took john two hours just to enter the Jersey city... after that he has to go to the emergency room to get his dad...
john missed all of his schooling because of this problem... but it was worth the trouble... at around two o'clock john tried calling cha to know where she was and jacq but unfornutaley with the luck that john has on valentines... she forgot her phone so john couldnt contact her... instead of cha... john called jen which eventually answered and said that jacq left going somewhere...
damn... john said..
he was actually on his way there.. the only thing to do is plan B... NILLE!! john called nille and asked where she was.. she was headed on her way to bus station but thank God with a little bit of luck.. she miss the bus... (hehhehehe) so plan B was to leave the stargazer lillies in her house and be surprise to see it when she arrives home...
but it works... around 9pm... jacq texted john
aba aba... ano tong flowers... thanks... para sa mga single na may kabit hahahha...
those were the words she texted john... those words make john think that there were no bad luck that valentines.....
it was perfect....
CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
MICROBIOLOGY
YES!! microbiology, the class of microscopes, the small, the cell and where john is classmate with jacq... yes... john did not missed that opportunity because he actually failed his nursing and he will never see jacq eveyweek... so he got that wish... now he is classmate with jacq, nengks, olga and mishy...
so microbiology is fun because of the fact that we have partners... but john was too shy to be jacq so he decided to partner with olga, then nengks and jacq....
